FAIRFIELD, CT - Freshman Julie Law (Kingston, RI) was awarded High Point Rider on Sunday at the IHSA Yale-Sacred Heart Horse Show. Law placed first in both her intermediate flat and novice jumping classes and won the "Ride Off" at the end of day against Columbia.
Just one day before Law began her collegiate equestrian career when her team competed in their first contest of the season at the IHSA Fairfield University where she was 1st in Intermediate under saddle and 4th in Novice Over Fences.
In two weeks Law will travel with junior Jessica Caruso, and sophomores Casey Marino and Sarah Buttelman to compete against New Mexico State in their first NCAA competition of the season.
